Patricia L. Adell owns and manages Real Estate Solutions Group, LLC, a consulting firm that advises public and private sector clients on the development of mixed-use complexes, hotels, convention centers, office, residential, retail, museums, and special uses. She has had over 20 years of real estate experience in market and financial feasibility, structuring public/private development partnerships, and creating strategic approaches to large-scale mixed-used projects.  A sample of her clients includes the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Cherokee Investments, the New York Economic Development Corporation, the City of Newark, Liberty Property Trust, and the Sports Museum of America.

Ms. Adell was previously the Regional Director of the Public/Private Development Practice of Ernst & Young, LLP. She was responsible for marketing and managing the public/private real estate consulting practice, and provided real estate development consulting services to public entities and private clients including developers, corporations, businesses, institutions, and government entities on all types of real estate.

Additional experience includes positions as Vice President, Real Estate Consulting Services at Legg Mason Real Estate Services, Director of Commercial Development for the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), and Director of Technical Assistance for the National Council for Urban Economic Development (now IEDC).

Ms. Adell holds a B.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois in Chicago. She is certified as a Counselor of Real Estate, (CRE) and is a member of the International Economic Development Council and The Urban Land Institute. She is a founding member, Past President, and Board Member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) of Philadelphia and serves as Chair of the NJ Smart Growth Alliance Business and Economic Development Caucus. She also served as a Board Member of the Museum of Contemporary Science and is a past National Delegate of the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women (NNCREW).

Ms. Adell has published articles and books on economic development organizations and project financing, and has given presentations and seminars for the American Planning Association, International Downtown Development Association, Temple University, NYU Wagner School, Princeton University Woodrow Wilson School, National Council for Urban Economic Development, NNCREW, and other professional organizations.
